About our Club
WHO ARE WE?
We're a friendly bunch who love a round of Darts. Our Club runs weekly games and competitions in a relaxed supportive environment. It's a great way to meet new people, improve your game and be part of the Whangamata Club family.
More than a game.
It's a community.
Junior Darts Champ
A huge congratulations to our very own Ryley Cunningham, who has been crowned the Waikato/BOP Junior Champion!

Ryley represented the Whangamata Club at the recent CNZ Area Darts Tournament, where he came away with the junior title. It’s a fantastic achievement and one we’re very proud to celebrate.
This was also a special milestone for the Club, with this being our first year entering our own junior players into the competition. To see Ryley take out the title in our first year makes the achievement even more special.

A big congratulations to Ryley on a fantastic result, and a thank you to our Darts adjunct for supporting our junior players and helping create opportunities for the next generation of players.
We look forward to seeing where Ryley’s darts journey takes him next!
Thames Valley – Waikato – Bay of Plenty Area Champs
Another successful tournament saw approximately 140 players from 17 clubs across the weekend compete keenly daily with the goal of being selected for inclusion in the Area Rep team to compete against other Area teams at the North Island Championships Hamilton Workingmen's Club next March 2027.

A special thank you goes to Ray Fitness, Dave Bowman and Karen Donaldson for going above and beyond throughout the weekend. Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed certainly did not go unnoticed.
