Dear Members,
We are pleased to advise that we have received five (5) nomination to fill the two (2) positions of Committee.
Nominations officially closed at the end of trading on Saturday, 31 May 2025.​​

Scrutineering Process
To ensure a fair and transparent election, the following scrutineering process will be followed:

Receipt of Votes
All online and paper ballots will be received and securely held by the Returning Officer until voting closes.

In terms of Rule 9.2(c) In the event of there being more nominations than the number required to fill all the positions available, the names of the Candidates shall be included in a form of Ballot Paper which shall be sent to all Members by post or email. Such Ballot Papers shall be returned to the Club Office on or before 5pm on the day immediately prior to the Annual General Meeting.

Handover to Scrutineer
Once voting concludes, the Returning Officer will hand over all received ballots to the appointed Scrutineer. -
Verification / Validation
The Scrutineer will:-
Confirm each vote is from a full financial member.

Ensure only one vote per member is counted.

If both an online and paper vote are received from the same member, the paper ballot will be deemed the valid vote.

If more than one online vote is received from the same member, the vote with the earliest time stamp will be deemed the valid vote.

Validate that no more than two candidates have been selected per ballot. Ballots with more than two selections will be ruled invalid.

Validate a maximum of one vote per candidate per ballot. Ballots with multiple votes for one candidate will be ruled invalid.

Counting of Votes
All valid votes will be tallied. The result will be confirmed and documented.-
In terms of Rule 9.2(d) The result of the election (which shall be by a secret ballot) will be announced at each Annual General Meeting. In the event of an equality of votes, a coin shall be tossed at the Annual General Meeting to enable a result to be announced.

Ballot Disposal
Following the confirmation of results, all physical and electronic ballots will be securely destroyed to protect voter confidentiality.
